Since 1994, AmeriCorps has engaged more than 980,000 Americans in national service and civic engagement, and members have given over one billion hours of service in communities.

AmeriCorps

Members of The Arc Jacksonville’s AmeriCorps Youth Transition Project provide a year of service as mentors, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental differences learn much needed independent living skills in a creative environment.

VISTA

AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) is a national service program all about helping individuals reach their fullest potential. Members of The Arc Jacksonville’s VISTA VITAL Project provide a year of service building the capacity of The Arc Jacksonville to support individuals with Intellectual and developmental differences to reach their full potential.
