The Xplore program is an adult day training program designed to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental differences the skills to succeed independently and in a career setting.

The program typically runs on a 12 week long, session schedule with 3 hour classes from 9AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM each day. Classes change each session to reflect different topics of interest for those who desire to be involved.

The program provides work readiness and social skills by taking individuals out into the community for real world experience while also providing a structured environment that encourages individual growth.

  • Preparing for employment

  • Fitness and recreation

  • Arts and Culture

  • Financial Literacy

  • Personal Enrichment

  • Exploring your community

  • Getting involved in your community

Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Understands and performs socially acceptable behaviors

  • Does not exhibit disruptive behaviors in public

  • Be able to communicate effectively with others

  • Be able to navigate the community with minimal supervision

Funding Options

Individuals and families can access funding for services in several ways:

  • Agency for Persons with Disability (APD)
  • Private Pay
