Xplore is a hands-on community program designed to give adults the skills needed to help them succeed in life.

Through Xplore, participants attend 12-week sessions to gain knowledge and independence. During each session, participants attend 3 – 4 morning or afternoon sessions on a variety of different topics, providing flexibility to work or attend other programs.

Session Topics Include

  • Volunteering
  • Preparing for employment
  • Fitness and recreation
  • Arts and Culture
  • Financial Literacy
  • Personal Enrichment
  • Exploring your community
  • Getting involved in your community


  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Understands and performs socially acceptable behaviors
  • Does not exhibit disruptive behaviors in public
  • Be able to communicate effectively with others 
  • Be able to navigate the community with minimal supervision

Funding Options

Individuals and families can access funding for services in several ways:

  • Agency for Persons with Disability (APD)
  • Private Pay
