The quarantine and stay-at-home orders have been tough for all of us, but for many individuals with intellectual and developmental differences, this time is especially hard and isolating. Programs like the ones we offer are the only time that many of these individuals interact with others.
While our programs are still closed to outside visitors, we are creating virtual and remote volunteer opportunities for you to connect and engage with the individuals we serve.
Volunteers can create engaging, instructional videos to be shared with the individuals we serve. Topics can include modified exercise, sign language, how-to’s (cooking a simple meal, an arts and crafts project, sew a button, etc.).
