High School High Tech
High School High Tech (HSHT) provides students opportunities to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)related careers. Through HSHT, students are connected to a wide range of career development, resources and experiences to enable them to meet the demands of the current workforce.
Students explore the many exciting educational and career opportunities available after high school while learning leadership, communication and technology skills. Students also have the chance to attend a five-day Youth Leadership Forum in Tallahassee, where they meet other HSHT students from across the state.

HSHT is a year-round program for students, ages 14-22, with varying abilities. The program is funded by The Able Trust and has been shown to increase student’s self-esteem and decrease their dropout rate. Through HSHT, students and their families are connected to local businesses, educators and the Vocational Rehabilitation office to help further their goals after high school.
